This chat application was done when i was completely drunk back in May 2008.

It was only a proof of concept of how to do webchats using jquery and php. Really you should not use this software.

The future is now so please use Websockets (+fallbacks) to do online chats, just take http://github.com/LearnBoost/Socket.IO-node, http://github.com/LearnBoost/Socket.IO and then try the chat example.

Or use real ajax chat applications.
